CLIMATE OF KALKAN

Kalkan has a typical Mediteranean climate with hot dry summers and warm wet winters. The sea water temperature rarely drops below 16°C (59.0°F) thus enabling swimmers to have a long swimming season

The hottest days of the hottest months are cooled by nice summer breeze which is called "Meltem" locally
